Rotary Club of Moncton Relocating to Alma City Club
Moncton — The Rotary Club of Moncton has relocated its weekly luncheon meetings to the Alma City Club.
“This year is going to be a big year for our Rotary Club,” said Chad Peters, President of the Rotary Club of Moncton. “On April 1st we will mark the beginning of our 95th year of Service Above Self in Moncton and will be turning an eye to 2020 when we will celebrate a Century of service.”
The Rotary Club of Moncton is the longest serving club in Greater Moncton having been established on April 1st, 1920. The Club meets on Mondays (except holidays) at 12:15 p.m.
Through the years a number of local organizations have benefited from funds raised by the Rotary Club of Moncton through its charitable arm, including Moncton Rotary Lodge (Centennial Park), Youth QUEST Central, Atlantic Wellness Community Center, Ability Transit, as well as many others.
The Alma City Club is located at 114 Alma Street in downtown Moncton. New members and guest are welcome; please contact Candace Mann at office@monctonrotary.ca.
